WORCESTER – James Michael “Mike” Flynn, 72, of Worcester, died Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves a son, James Flynn of Attelboro, MA; his wife Kim Flynn, three brothers, Charles J. Derosier of N. Grafton, Rodney F. Derosier of Worcester and Roger D. Derosier of Webster; three sisters, Gina Nash and her husband Al Nash of Spencer, Sharon Clark of Whitinsville and Claire Lewis and her husband Robert of Webster. He also leaves 23 nephews and nieces, 31 great-nephews and nieces and 1 great-great-nephew. He was predeceased by his son David James Flynn, his parents, James Flynn and Claire E. (Giguere) Flynn-Derosier, and his stepfather Charles J. Derosier. He was born in Worcester and graduated from Millbury High School.
Mike worked as a mover for Bekins and Liberty Movers, and as a delivery driver for several brewing companies. He also worked for Morgan Linen Company and Berkshire Armored Car as an armed security guard. He was a member of the Leicester Rod and Gun Club and Auburn Sportsman’s Club. Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to spend time outdoors.
Calling hours will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, with a service at 6:30 pm.
