WORCESTER – Hector Andrade, 93, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 15, 2021, at home. His beloved wife of 68 years, Sara D. Andrade, predeceased him in June 2017.

He is survived by a daughter, Grace Andrade of Worcester, a son Victor Andrade and his wife Paula of Worcester; his sister Nidia Maria Andrade de Franco of Guayaquil, Ecuador; four grandchildren, Leonardo Andrade of Worcester, Alicia, Grace, and Hector Andrade of Guayaquil, Ecuador; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Hector was predeceased by his son Hector G. Andrade, his siblings, Victor H. Andrade and Clemente Andrade. He was born in Huigra, Ecuador, son of Victor and Guillermina Andrade.

Hector worked as a die cutting machine operator for a handbag manufacturer. Hector enjoyed reading, watching soccer matches, and restoring tools and furniture, he also spent time on social media keeping up with close friends.

There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is in care of arrangements.
