WORCESTER – Harriet Andrukonis, 63, of Worcester, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at UMass Memorial Medical Center -- Memorial Campus, after a long illness.
She leaves her mother, Josephine Andrukonis of Worcester, her brother, John R. Andrukonis of Worcester, a sister Debra Pasquale and her husband Henry of Worcester, her niece and Godchild Stephanie Pasquale of Worcester. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Josephine (Spadea) Andrukonis and the late Richard S. Andrukonis. Harriet graduated from the former St. Mary’s High School in Worcester in 1976, Becker College in 1979 as a vet tech, and received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Worcester State College in 1983.
Harriet was an assembly line worker at McKesson Medical Supply Company. She loved fundraising for cancer by doing road races and walks. She also loved her faith as a Roman Catholic, especially the Blessed Mother. She always put others first and made family functions special. Harriet showed great heroic virtues during her illness. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
