Greta Lynn (Shaw) Ortiz

WEBSTER – Greta Lynn (Shaw) Ortiz, 55, of Webster, died Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Harrington Hospital, Webster.

She leaves two children, Crystal Shaw of Tennessee, and Michael Shaw of Worcester, two sisters, Catalina Shaw and Joy Shaw, and more extended family in Maine; her granddaughter Nevaeh, grandsons Angel, Bobby and Xavier; her fiancé Donald Derusha, his daughter Krista Despres and her husband Chris Despres; her nephews Jimmy, Ryan, Matthew, CJ, and Nicholas.  She was predeceased by her mother Simone Bishop Shaw, her father Joseph Shaw, her grandmother Marion Schofeild, and her grandfather Chet Schofield.  She was born in Westbrook, Maine, daughter of Joseph E. and Simone C. (Lunt) Shaw.  She graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster.

Greta was a personal care attendant at Tri-Valley, Inc. in Dudley, MA.  She loved country music and soft rock.  She loved camping and travelling.

Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701 (www.cancer.org).
