George Norman Nichols Jr.

WORCESTER – George N. Nichols Jr. 54, of Worcester, MA, died Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Mass General Hospital, Boston. 

He leaves three daughters, Charity Leclaire, Tiffani Nichols, and Stephanie Nichols; his mother Margaret Nichols, his ex-wife Anastasia Nichols, a brother, Rich Welch; five sisters, Christine Nichols-Aubin, Peggy Ulis, Penny Tenney, Wanda Lambert, and Georgeanna Leclaire; grandchildren Damian Burt, Autumn Burt, Braedyn Dawson and Everleigh Viruet; his partner of 11 years Tammy Silva, his best friend Mike O’Brien; nieces and nephews Shannon Aubin, Desiree and Tyler Roussin, Angie, Norma, and Vicente Torres, Russell and Becky Tenney, Gordon, Erica, and Micheal Mercado, and A.J. Lambert.  He was predeceased by his father, George N Nichols, his granddaughter Everleigh Viruet, and his brother-in-law Don Aubin.  He was born in Worcester, son of George N. and Margaret (Vertrano) Nichols.  He graduated from Worcester Voke High School.

George worked in customer service at Supply New England.  He enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, darts, and the New England Patriots.

The funeral will be held Monday, June 12 at 11:30 am at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  A calling hour will be held from 10:00 -11:30 am at the funeral home prior to the service.
