SOUTHBRIDGE - Francis “Franko” Pardee Sr., 65, of Southbridge, MA, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, surrounded by family.
Frank lived a life filled with music, laughter, fishing, and the company of the people he loved most. He enjoyed relaxing with a drink, listening to his favorite songs, and spending cherished time with friends and family. His humor, warmth, and presence will be remembered by all who knew him.
Frank was a devoted father. He is preceded in death by his parents Jennie and Charles Pardee, and by his son Frankie, his granddaughter Gabriella, his sisters Laura Shugart and Karen McMahon, and his brothers Charlie, William, and Jim Pardee. He is survived by the mother of his kids Sheila Belanger and their children Jennifer, Matthew, and Leah Pardee. He is also survived by his brother Robert Pardee, of Southbridge.
Francis leaves behind his grandchildren Hailie, Kayleigh, Jolie, Anthony, Raina, Jayden, and Charlotte and his great-grandson William, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was blessed with lifelong friendships and shared a special bond with his best friends, Scott, Dodge, and Norm, who brought laughter, loyalty, and joy to his life.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Holden Christian Academy for their support with the family during this difficult time and the ICU staff at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge for their compassionate care and support during Frank’s final days.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Frank’s life at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 4 pm - 6 pm with prayers at 5:30 pm.
