Frances J. (Sharron) Fisher, 74, of 2251 Highland South, Birmingham, Ala., formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday in the University of Alabama Hospital, Birmingham.


Her first husband, Charles A. McDonnell, died in 1949. Her second husband was the late Merton J. Clifford.  She leaves her husband, Frank H. Fisher of Birmingham; a brother, Roy B. Sharron of Worcester; two sisters, Blanche Sargent of Ossipee, N.H., and Jeannette McGee of North Fort Myers, Fla.; and several nephews and nieces.  Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of Francis and Blanche (Roy) Sharron, and had lived here most of her life before moving from the city in 1978.


Mrs. Fisher was an office manager at Demers Brothers, and later was an office manager for many years at Northboro Oil Co., Northboro, before retiring in 1978.  She attended Worcester Public Schools and graduated from the former Commerce High School.  She was a former member of Notre Dame Church.


Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave. The Rev. Francis J. Scollen will officiate. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home are 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
