Frances C. (Stepien) Cummings

CHERRY VALLEY – Frances C. (Stepien) Cummings, 60, of Cherry Valley, died Saturday, May 16, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital after a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 69 years, Larry E. Cummings; two sons, Sean Edward Cummings of Cherry Valley and Jason Lee Cummings of Cherry Valley; her daughter-in-law Aurora Ramos; a brother, Joseph Stepien of Oxford; nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by a sister, Colleen Kularski.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph and Frances (Sherman) Stepien, and was raised in Oxford.

Frances worked at Market Basket in Oxford.  She previously worked as a housekeeper.  She enjoyed spending quality time with her husband and loved her cat Jr., and loved animals of all kinds.  She collected various Christmas collectables and displayed them throughout her home.

Funeral services will be private.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. Donations may be made to her son Jason Cummings, 501 Stafford St #11, Cherry Valley, MA 01611.
