Fernande R. (Montigny) Bolduc

WORCESTER – Fernande R. (Montigny) Bolduc, 93, formerly of Northbridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester.

Her husband of 49 years, Claude R. Bolduc, a World War II Navy veteran, died in 2000.  She leaves a son, Paul C. Bolduc (Denise) of Royalston, MA; two daughters, Diane J. Bolduc of Northbridge and  Lisa Ochs (Andy) of St Augustine, Florida; a son-in-law Scott Levy of Middletown, CT;  a brother, Roland Montigny and his wife Blanche; two sisters, Madeleine Tremblay  and Pauline Parker; ten grandchildren: Rosemary Samia (James), Clare Bolduc, Nicola Joachim (Dave), Nicole Zacotinsky (JR), Gordon Levy (Emma), Amanda Kisseberth (Brogan), Lauren Bitsoli and  Alex, Caroline and Charlotte Ochs; seven great-grandchildren: Nadia Samia, Jackson and Felix Joachim, Sloane and Harley Zacotinsky, Hudson and Crew Kisseberth; and many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her daughter Denise Levy, two brothers, Rene and Normand Montigny, and a sister, Therese E. Lafleur.  She was born in Albion, RI, daughter of the late Antonio M. and Eva M. (Mathieu) Montigny.

Fernande was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Parish in Northbridge where she taught CCD. She enjoyed spending time with her family and travelling.  She loved Las Vegas and Disney.

The Bolduc family would like to thank the staff at Jewish Health Care and JHC Hospice for their compassionate and loving care of Fernande during her stay.

Fernande’s wishes were to have all her funeral services held privately.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Healthcare, 629 Salisbury St, Worcester, MA 01609.
