WEST BOYLSTON - Evelyn S. (Nyholm) Newell, 75, of 755 Winfred Drive South, Orange Park, Fla., formerly of 14 Blue Ridge Road, died Sunday in Orange Park-Humana Hospital, Orange Park.

Her husband, Ralph Newell, died in 1969.  She leaves two sons, Robert Newell of Rochester, Mich., and Kenneth Newell of Acton; Barbara Fitzgerald of Orange Park and Patricia Newell of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, John H. Nyholm of Park Ridge, Ill.; and three grandchildren.  She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Gust and Maria (Sander) Nyholm, and lived in West Boylston many years before moving to Florida in 1982.

Mrs. Newell was a former member of Greendale Peoples Church.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in New Swedish Cemetery, Worcester. The Rev. Ralph E. Marsden will officiate.  There are no calling hours.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., Worcester, is directing arrangements.
