Ellen Elizabeth "Betty" (Saine) Cabana

WHITINSVILLE – Ellen Elizabeth “Betty” (Saine) Cabana, 75, of Whitinsville, died Friday, May 29, 2020 at UMass Memorial – Memorial Campus.

Her husband, Robert L. Cabana, died in Florida in 2006. She leaves 5 children, Mark Cabana and his wife Marianne, Brian Cabana, and Greg Cabana all of West Palm Beach, Florida, her son Robert Cabana Jr. of Oxford, MA, her daughter Michelle Trudell and her husband James Trudell Jr of Whitinsville, with whom she lived; 6 grandchildren, Justin Huard, Owen Rainville, Tyler Trudell, Jacob Trudell, Alex Trudell, and her only granddaughter, Katlyn Trudell. She also leaves two sisters, Judith Gabis and her husband William of Worcester and Jean F. O’Malley and her husband John of Grafton; and two brothers, Richard J. Saine of Worcester and Stuart W. Saine, Jr. of Florida; nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester on 9/11/1944, daughter of Stuart W. and Bertha M. (Shea) Saine.

Ellen retired from Hahnemann hospital as a cytologistt for 30 years. She enjoyed playing Farkle with her sisters and mother every Friday night. She loved going to Foxwoods and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Michelle & James Trudell, 35 Granite St, Whitinsville, MA 01588.
