WORCESTER – Ella Lillian (Snow) Thayer, 64, of Worcester, died Saturday, September 13, 2025 at UMass Memorial – Memorial Campus surrounded by those that loved her.

She leaves her husband of 23 years, Jonathan W. Thayer.   She was born in Worcester and she graduated from David Hale Fanning High School.

For several years Ella was a subrogation supervisor at Liberty Mutual Insurance where she met many lifelong friends. She had several hobbies including collecting vintage toys, gardening and cooking. She loved spending her weekends at Mona's flea market. Ella was a powerful woman in her faith in Jesus Christ, she enjoyed spreading the gospel and hosting bible studies. She also enjoyed trips to York Beach, Maine and traveling with her husband John.

Calling hours will be held 10:00 am- 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Rice Funeral Home 300 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in New Howard Cemetery, 19 Armsby Road, Sutton.
