Elizabeth Hernandez

WORCESTER - Elizabeth Hernandez, 57, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at UMass Memorial, University Campus. 

She leaves a daughter, Michelle Idrovo of Worcester, two sisters, Alia Vera and Tina Santiago of New York City, a brother, Ceasar Falcon of Orlando, Florida, a granddaughter Katherine Elizabeth Appiah, a lifelong friend Jesus Diaz and many other family and friends. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Elba Santiago. 

Elizabeth’s proudest joy was caring for and spending time with her granddaughter. Elizabeth was a selfless soul who enjoyed helping those around her. She would spend her time making people laugh and her smile brought joy to many others. Elizabeth was a kind soul who touched the hearts of those around her. She spent many years volunteering at APW and took great joy in helping others.

A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 24th, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Bernard’s Church of Our Lady of Providence Parish, 236 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
