WORCESTER – Eliodora Walker, 88, of Worcester, died Monday, August 10, 2020 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.
She leaves five children, Jesus Pinero and his wife Josefina Balado of Puerto Rico, Leticia Canales of Worcester, José Canales and his wife Olga Burgos of Worcester, Pedro Canales and his wife Jenny Giron of Puerto Rico, and Daniel Canales and his wife Aida Maldonado of Puerto Rico; ten grandchildren, Becky Pinero, Allen Pinero, Ernie J. Canales, Omarelys Antoine, Lymarie Canales, Rodney Harrigan, Katherine Canales, Marjorie Canales, Nilka D. Canales, and Joyce M. Canales; three great-grandchildren, Elijah J. Antoine, Jaymien K. Harrigan, and Kayden P. Harrigan. She was predeceased by her spouse of 25 years, Angel Luis Canales. She was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, daughter of Justo Walker and Luz Marie Osorio, and has lived here since 1991.
Eliodora worked as a custodian at a school in Puerto Rico. She liked crossword puzzles, reading the Bible, watching sports, and enjoyed taking walks.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
