Edna M. (Nolet) Asklof, formerly of 485 Grove St., died Wednesday night in St. Francis Home, 101 Plantation St.


Her husband, J. Herbert Asklof, died in 1978.  She leaves a nephew, Richard G. Marsolais of Eagle River, Alaska.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph A. and Emma E. (Gregoire) Nolet, and lived here all her life.


She was a buyer for 15 years at David H. Fanning Trade High School, retiring many years ago.  Mrs. Asklof was a member of Notre Dame des Canadiens Church and its Holy Family Society.


The funeral will be held Monday from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame des Canadiens Church, 5 Salem Square. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.
