Dorothy R. (Derosier) McCarthy, 65, of 43 Birch St. died Tuesday in City Hospital. Her husband, James L. McCarthy, died in 1983.
Mrs. McCarthy was a machine operator at Jamesbury Corp. the past 15 years.
She leaves three sons, James L. and Daniel J. McCarthy of Worcester, and Kenneth K. McCarthy of Oakham; two daughters, Patricia D. Peloquin and Debra J. Hidenfelter of Worcester; seven sisters, Eva Doyle, Marian Tetreault, Hazel Tetreault, Rita Jette, and Marie Tyan, all of Worcester, Edna Marotta of Alpina, Mich., and Marguerite Barrus of Thomaston, Maine; two sisters-in-law, Roseanna Derosier and Claire Derosier of Worcester; 15 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of George and Ethel (Bruyea) Derosier, and was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle parish.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
