WORCESTER – Dorothy J. (Finkle) Keidan, 89, of Worcester, died Monday, December 9, 2024 at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehab, 40 Julio Drive, Shrewsbury.

She leaves her husband of 68 years, J. Robert Keidan, a son, Michael A. Keidan and his wife Christine of Worcester, a daughter, Lynda L. Keidan Breen of Worcester, a brother, Marvin Finkle and his wife Beth of Texas, three grandsons, Ben and Zachary Keidan and Tony Breen and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Selma Innocenti.  She was born in Everett, MA, daughter of Abraham J. and Rose (Dorris) Finkle.  She graduated from Chelsea High School and attended Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

Dorothy was an assistant manager in the gift and silverware department at Maison Blanche in New Orleans many years ago.  She enjoyed tending to her beautiful gardens, knitting, bicycle riding and being with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  In lieu of flowers, please plant something in your garden this spring in memory of Dot.
