Doreen H. (West) Parsons

WORCESTER – Doreen H. (West) Parsons, 69, of Worcester, died Monday, June 8, 2026 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.

She leaves two sons, Corey and Michael Parsons, both of Worcester; two brothers, David A. West, Sr. and his wife Denise, and Dennis J. West and his wife Laurie; eleven grandchildren, Rylie, Alayah, Christopher, Devin, Madison, Noah, Jackson, Amaya, Michael Jr, Hemlock, and Grayson; several nieces and nephews.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Bernard C. and Frances (Kaliunas) West.  She graduated from South High School.

Doreen owned and operated a children’s boutique - Sparklin Lil Stars in the early 2000s until she became ill.   She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her Foxwoods trips and shopping.

A memorial service will be held Thursday June 18, 2026 from 5:00 -7:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
