Dora A. (Sansoucie) Boulais

NORTHBRIDGE - Dora A. (Sansoucie) Boulais, 92, of Northbridge, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at AdviniaCare, Northbridge (formerly Beaumont Nursing Center).

Her beloved husband of 63 years, Norman Boulais, passed in 2013.  She was predeceased by a brother, Rene J. Sansoucie, and a sister, Edna Furphy.  She was born in Northbridge, daughter of Elionel and Laura (Cournoyer) Sansoucie and attended Worcester Girls Trade School.

Dora was an assembler at Drapers Factory in Hopedale for many years and also worked at Fenwal Fire Detection Systems in Ashland.  She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Parish in Northbridge.  She enjoyed quilting and sewing, and created many beautiful pieces throughout the years.

Dora leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  Arrangements are in the care of Turgeon Funeral Home and Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday July 20, 2023 at 11am at St Peter's Church 39 Church Ave Northbridge followed by burial at St Patrick's Cemetery in Whitinsville. There will be no calling hours.  No flowers please.  Contributions in Dora’s memory may be made to the Northbridge Fire Dept. Ambulance Fund, 193 Main St, Whitinsville, MA 01588.
