WORCESTER – Don C. Dickie, 69, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 2, 2024 at UMass Memorial – Lake Ave.

He leaves his wife of 48 years, Desiree (Hamblin) Dickie, a daughter, Natasha Dickie of Worcester, two sons, Dwayne Dickie and Daniel Dickie, both of Worcester; his mother Evelyn Dickie of Missouri; four brothers, Philip Dickie, Dennis Dickie, Eddie Dickie, and Kerwin Dickie; a sister Maxine Dickie; and a granddaughter Tatyana Dembrook, and many nieces and nephews.  He was born in Berbice, Guyana, son of James and Evelyn (Williams) Dickie.

Don was a bus driver for the WRTA.  He enjoyed cars, soccer, gardening, playing pool, and rugby.

A funeral service will be held Monday August 12 at 5:30pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. Calling hours are 4:00 - 5:30 pm at the funeral home.
