Derick Majors Obituary

WORCESTER – Derick J. Majors, 20, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at home.

He leaves his mother, Kristen A. Rose of Worcester, his father, Clifton Majors of Worcester, a sister, Lilyann Majors of Worcester, his paternal grandmother, Donna Allen of Boston, his maternal grandfather, Thomas Rose of Upton, many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Clifton Allen and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Rose. He was born in Worcester.

Derick graduated from Burncoat High School.  He worked in the restaurant business and customer service.  He was a determined fearless man, hard-working, very intelligent, and well-liked by anyone who met him.  He enjoyed video games, horror, swimming and was a creative storyteller.  Derick was an advocate for himself and others and always spoke up for what he believed in.

A calling hour will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, followed by a procession to Hope Cemetery and a graveside service at 11:30 am.   (Hope Cemetery, 119A Webster St, Worcester, section 99).
