Demir Dollaku Obituary

WORCESTER – Demir Dollaku, 80, of Worcester, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Duhije (Reci) Dollaku, a daughter, Mirela Hristo of Florida; brothers and sisters Bimi, Jeni, Nepja,Suzi, and Shpetimi; a granddaughter Christina of Florida. He was born in Tirane, Albania, son of Reshit and Hamide (Qira) Dollaku and has lived here 24 years.

Demir was a mechanic at Kombinat textile factory in Albania. He enjoyed playing and officiating soccer games.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester. Burial will be private.
