David Rodriguez

WORCESTER – David Rodriguez, 55, of Worcester died Friday, October 20, 2023 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. 

He leaves a daughter, Tatyanna Rodriguez, his mother, Monserate Rodriguez, two brothers, Eduardo and Javier Rodriguez, and a sister, Mildred Zavala of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews.  He was born in Rio Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico, son of Andres and Monserate (Figueroa) Rodriguez, and has lived here since 1978.

David was a personal care attendant for his mother, working for Tempus.  He also worked at Worcester Rent-to-Own for over 10 years.  He was a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral.  He was an avid sports fan.  He loved the Miami Dolphins and the New York Knicks.  He enjoyed listening to free style music and Latin music.

Calling hours will be held from 10-11:30 am on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Avenue, Worcester, followed by prayers at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
