Daniel M. Gunstead, 22, of 41 Birch St, died yesterday in Hahnemann Hospital after a long illness.

He was an assembler at the Roger W. Bruce Vocational Evaluation Center and had worked for Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries. He leaves his parents, Warren W. and Mary H. (Deignan) Gunstead of Worcester; two brothers, Neil R. and David W. Gunstead, both of Worcester, and several aunts and uncles. He was born in Worcester and graduated from Doherty High School in 1975.

Mr. Gunstead had been assistant scoutmaster of Scout Troop 74 at Holy Name of Jesus Church.

The funeral will be held tomorrow from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., with a Mass at 9 am in St. Peter's Church, 929 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral borne are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m. today.
