Daniel "Danny" P. Forget Obituary
WORCESTER – Daniel “Danny” P. Forget, 48, of Worcester, died Monday, January 1, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital, after a brief illness.
Danny leaves behind his mother, Linda Rivard of North Brookfield, his two children Garrett and Kaila, his brothers Scott M. Forget and wife Carrie of N. Grosvenordale, Connecticut, and Derek D. Simpson and his wife Aisha of Thompson, Connecticut. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins. Danny was predeceased by his father Francis A. Forget, his brother Robert Forget, his stepdad Scott M. Simpson, his paternal grandmother Florence (Forget) Brown, his maternal grandparents Robert A. Bernier and Shirley A. (Rivard) Bernier.
He was born in Worcester, graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School and entered the work field as an electrician. He was very passionate about his career and took pride in his work. Danny enjoyed spending time learning anything he could about history, he was a self-proclaimed history buff. You’d never catch a glimpse of him without a hat, and he also enjoyed detailing his car for fun. What his family will miss most is his daily phone calls asking everyone “what are you having for dinner?” Danny was always good for a laugh or poking fun.
A memorial service will be held Saturday February 10, 2024 from 1-2:30 with prayers at 2:30 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
