Colin James Roache

WORCESTER - Colin James Roache, 83, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at UMass Memorial – Memorial Campus following a short illness.

Hi wife of 45 years, Francella G. (Brown) Roache, died in 2014.  He leaves two children, Roy Roach Sr. and Yvonne Hart, both of Worcester; a brother, Headley Foster of Jamaica; a sister, Delcie Foster of Jamaica; four grandchildren, Roy Roach Jr. and Erika Roach, Andrew Hart Jr. and André Hart, all of Worcester; two great-grandchildren, Ahzelle and Zuri Roach; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends both here in the US and in Jamaica.  He was predeceased by a brother, Oswald Crosby.  Colin was born in St Ann, Jamaica, son of Stanley Roache and Enid McDermott and has lived here since 1972.  

Colin was a barber here in Worcester for 43 years and has served the community well.

Calling hours will be Friday, September 25, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:30 am at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, followed by burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
