Chester C. Broadard

WORCESTER - Chester Charles “Cookie” Broadard, 65 of Worcester MA, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. 

Chester was born in Worcester on April 1, 1956, son of the late Chester and Ethel Broadard.  He was pre-deceased by his brother David Broadard, his sister Theresa Premo, and his daughter Donna Marie Johnson. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: His loving wife of 48 years Georgeanna Broadard; his children Lee Ann Morgan and husband Daniel Morgan of Worcester, Tracy Coore and her husband Rohan Coore of Whitinsville, Tiffany Lillie and her husband William Lillie of Orlando, FL.  10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. 

Chester also leaves three brothers, Steven Broadard of Brimfield, John Broadard of Worcester, and James Broadard and his wife Marge Broadard of Worcester, three sisters, Jennifer Kiser and her husband Duron Kiser of Worcester, Annamarie Klemm and her husband Michael Klemm of North Carolina, and Deborah Burnett of Worcester. 

Chester was blessed with a large and loving family.  He leaves us with many great memories.  Everyone who has ever crossed paths with Chester will never forget his infectious smile, big heart and strong presence.  Chester loved music, the beach and spontaneous trips.  He lived, loved and laughed always.  It’s never goodbye…  Until we meet again my husband, our father, our Pep, see you later!!!

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.  Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St, Worcester. Calling hours will be held before the service from 10:00 – 11:30 am at the funeral home.
