FALMOUTH, MA – Charles H. Bouchard, 94, of Falmouth, died Saturday, December 11, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
His wife of 50 years, Madeleine A. (Lessard) Bouchard, died in 2002. He leaves five children, Robert J. Bouchard and his wife Maryann of Medfield, Nancy E. Bouchard of Fort Meyers Beach, FL, David J. Bouchard and his wife Karen of Columbus, OH, Jane E. Bouchard of Falmouth, and Carol A. Bouchard and her husband Glenn Barb of Greenwood, IN; a sister-in-law, Jacqueline Finn of Worcester; six grandchildren: Alessandra, Theodore, Madeline, Patrick, Gabrielle, and Caroline Bouchard; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two sons, Michael and Andrew Bouchard, and a sister, Virginia Tremblay. He was born in Worcester, son of Hilaire G. and Marguerite (Duquette) Bouchard, and also lived in Norwood, MA, Buffalo, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, and Naples, FL. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Charles was a Sales Engineer and later Vice President of Industrial Sales at Westinghouse Electric. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Parish of St. Joseph Guardian of the Holy Family at St. Patrick Church, 511 Main St, Falmouth, MA. Calling hours will be held Tuesday prior to the Mass from 9:30 – 10:45 am at the church. Burial with military honors will be Wednesday, December 15 at 11:00 am at Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St in Worcester, Section Holy Family. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
