Carol Anne (Nase) Bond

WESTBOROUGH – Carol A. (Nase) Bond, 80 of Westborough, died Sunday, February 13, 2022 at UMass Memorial – University Campus.

She leaves two daughters, Lisa Ann (David) Emmons of Northwood, Iowa and Judy Marie (Jodi) Bond of Northborough, a son Kevin Donald Bond of New Smyrna Beach, FL; a brother G. Leonard Nase and sister-in-law Barbara Spence Nase of Derry, NH; 13 grandchildren, Gabrielle Emmons, Arianna Emmons, Natania Emmons, Annaliese Emmons and Micah Emmons, Marc Tambashi, Michael Harrington, Cheyenne Bond, Mikayla Bond Matilda Rowe-Bond, Matea Rowe-Bond, Landon Rowe-Bond, and Griffin Rowe-Bond.  Carol leaves many nieces and nephews and a former daughter-in-law Lois Bond.  She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Brunswick Nase.  She was born in Boston, daughter of George B. and Marguerite C. (Ganong) Nase.  

Carol worked for the accounting firm Alexander Aronson Finning and Co.  She previously worked in the insurance business after receiving a certificate in computer programming.  She enjoyed playing cards, kayaking, going to the ocean, attending musical productions and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was an avid New England sports fan and never missed a televised Red Sox game!

A Funeral service will be held Saturday March 5, 2022 at 11 am at First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St, Westborough, with a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 am for those who cannot stay for the service.  Following the service there will be a reception.  It will take place at the church.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, is assisting the family.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Baypath Humane Society, 500 Legacy Farms N, Hopkinton, MA 01748.
