WORCESTER – Carlos A. Orozco, 67, of Worcester, died Monday, May 3, 2021 at UMass Memorial – University Campus after a long illness.
He leaves three sons, Carlos Orozco Jr, Michael and John Bryant, all of Worcester; two daughters, Helene Rivera of Boston and Natasha Orozco of Worcester; two brothers, Oswaldo Orozco of New Jersey and Jorge Orozco of Florida, a sister, Belgica Mero of New York City; 11 grandchildren, Tianna Rivera, Juni Rivera, Destiny Orozco, Yari Martinez, Javy Martinez, Lilian Orozco, Mariah Bryant, Kameron Bryant, John Bryant Jr, Melina Bryant, and Christian Rivera; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Carlos was predeceased by his brother Wellington Orozco and his mother, Piedad Arroyave. He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, son of Jorge Orozco and Piedad Arroyave and has lived here since he was 12.
Carlos was a machinist in welding metal fabrication. He enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets and trade shows.
Funeral services will be private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
