Brian J. David Obituary
AUBURN - Brian J. David of Auburn passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
He was born in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, and lived many years in New York before relocating to Massachusetts. Throughout his life, he was known for his big heart, sense of humor, and the way he could light up any room he walked into. He enjoyed cooking, going out with friends, and capturing the beauty of the sky in his photos.
Brian was a self-employed construction worker who loved helping people and took great pride in his work, always putting his heart into everything he built. He was a loyal Yankees and Giants fan who never missed a good game. More than anything, he loved spending time with the people he cared about, sharing laughs, good food, and great memories. His kindness, humor, and hardworking spirit touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Glasgow of Southbridge, and stepfather Willie Burden; his former wife, Iraida Betancourt of Worcester; three children, Amber M. David, Brandon J. David, and Christin K. David, all of Worcester; a sister, Karen G. David of Yonkers, New York; three brothers, Ryan Gibson of Botswana, Africa, Clarance Romero of Yonkers, New York, and Brent Gibson of Birmingham, New York; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Oscar David.
His love, laughter, and the mark he left on our hearts will never be forgotten.
Funeral services are private and in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
