WORCESTER - Brian Scott Bucher, a loving dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 39.  Born in Worcester, he grew up in Shrewsbury and graduated from Shrewsbury High School.  He went on to earn his HVAC certification from Porter and Chester Institute and worked hard in a career that suited his hands-on nature and strong work ethic.

Brian is survived by his father, Greg Bucher of Marlborough; his mother, Sandy, and brother, Scott Bucher, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and his two daughters, Hailey and Peyton Bucher of Auburn — who meant everything to him. He also leaves behind his nephew, Guan Bucher of Wisconsin, and his nieces, Emma and Sofia Bohdiewicz of Auburn, who affectionately knew him as "Bubba."

Brian loved being outside and especially enjoyed fishing. Some of his best days were spent at local ponds with his daughters, casting lines and just enjoying the time together. Whether they were close to home or down on the Cape, those quiet moments on the water meant a lot to him.

He also shared a love of video games with his daughters — especially Roblox. It wasn’t just about playing; it was about competing. They enjoyed the bragging rights when he topped the leaderboards in their favorite games, and it became a fun, ongoing challenge that brought them even closer together.

Brian had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs — a love clearly seen in the memorial tattoo he proudly wore for his most beloved dogs, Sammy and Crystal. They were a big part of his life and always close to his heart.

Brian will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his sense of humor, and the quiet love he had for his family. He didn’t need to say much — the people who knew him knew how much he cared. For Hailey and Peyton, their dad is still with them every time they see fish swimming or a cardinal in a tree — little signs of his love that will always stay with them.
