Brenda L. Nunez Torres

WORCESTER – Brenda Nunez Torres, 49, of Worcester, died Monday, May 19, 2025 at UMass Memorial – Memorial Campus, after a long illness.

She leaves her mother Ana Tores of Worcester, her brother, Herbert Nunez and his wife Yvette Rivera of Florida, her pastors, Paulino and his wife Gudelia Mendez of Worcester, her aunt Maria Torres and husband Guilberto Vazquez of Puerto Rico, her uncle Carmelo Torres of Florida, aunts Luz Torres of New York and Justa Torres of Holyoke, and uncle Justino Torres of Puerto Rico, her cousins Ivannah, Kenny, Sandra, Shakiyla, Cindy, Milagros, Carlos, Maria and Limary. She also leaves her Goddaughter Yamilet Estrada of Worcester. She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Jose Pablo Nunez and Ana Torres.  She has lived here since 2005.

Brenda was a police officer in Puerto Rico.  She enjoyed going to church, evangelizing, cooking and volunteering in her community.

Calling hours and a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
