WEST BOYLSTON - Blanche Lillian (Rioux) Fournier peacefully passed from this life into the waiting arms of her loving Savior, Jesus, on Sunday March 21st in the presence of her loving family. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Roy) Rioux.
She leaves behind two daughters, Denise A, wife of Stephen Corey and Janice M, wife of Michael McAleer, of West Boylston MA., a son, Francis A and wife Julie Fournier of Dudley, MA., ten grandchildren, Andrew Prochnow, Matthew and wife Stephanie Prochnow, Ryan Fournier and Angelie Vermette, Amy and husband Joshua Raimer, Schyler and wife Rebecca Fournier, Britney and husband Jonathan Cashman, Evan & Jordan Balaber; 15 Great grandchildren: Kaitlin, Gabriella, Miya, Adelynn, Caleb, Luke and Eli Prochnow, Lily-Ann Simmons, Jackson Raimer, Eva, Briella and Lukas Fournier, Everly Cashman, Joey and Jillian McAleer. Other close family members include Gail and Richard Vigneault and Rosann Bently. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur of 65 years and sister, Rose Knipe.
Blanche graduated from Classical High School and the School of Fashion Design, Boston MA. She was employed by The Heald Machine Company as an executive secretary, later choosing to leave her job to stay at home and raise her family. Blanche was an expert seamstress designing everything from wedding gowns to any style of apparel and millinery to wonderful home decor creations. She also loved music and was a classical pianist, often accompanying the Heald Glee Club and later many church functions. She was also a member of the St. Charles Boromeo Church choir for many years.

The funeral will be privately held on Thursday March 25, 2021 at Rice Funeral Home. 300 Park Ave, Worcester with burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
