Bijou M. (Smith) Smith, 87, formerly of 67 Dewey St. died yesterday in Park Terrace Nursing Home, 39 Queen St.

Her husband, Clarence E. Smith, died in 1978.  She leaves a son, Clarence E. Smith Jr. of Worcester; two grandsons; and a granddaughter.  Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of George E. and Juanita (Lowery) Smith, and had lived in Worcester all her life.

Mrs. Smith was once a cashier at the former Denholm and McKay Co.  She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Margaret Quill Malaney will officiate.  There are no calling hours.  The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to the United Negro College Fund.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., is directing arrangements.
