Barbara M. Chausse

UXBRIDGE – Barbara M. Chausse, of Uxbridge, formerly of Millbury and South Grafton, died Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family. 

She leaves her nieces and nephews, Leo Chausse of Worcester, Steven Chausse and his partner Richard Plasse of Webster, Rebecca Beaupre of Barton, Vermont, Paula Racicot and her husband Wayne of Uxbridge, with whom she lived, Maxime Chausse and his wife Allison of Hudson, Maine, and Ronald Chausse and his wife Alicia of Uxbridge.  She was predeceased by her brother Ronald G. Chausse and his wife Alice, her niece Patricia Chausse, and her great-great-nephew Patrick Pierce.  She was born in South Grafton, daughter of Maxime J. and Florence A. (Hudson) Chausse.  She graduated from Grafton High School.

Barbara worked in accounting at Millbury Credit Union.  She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in South Grafton.  She enjoyed being with her family.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in St. James Catholic Church, 89 Main St., South Grafton.  Burial will follow in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
