AUBURN - Arthur R. Marcotte, 82, of Auburn, died Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at UMass Memorial, Memorial Campus, Worcester
His wife, Garnet M. (Fiore) Marcotte, died in 2001. He leaves two daughters, Regina M. Gordon and Jill C. Marcotte, both of Auburn; three grandchildren, Jonathan Bolduc and his wife Alycia Bolduc ,Jamielyn Fish and Vince Rotolo; ten great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; and his good friend Blanche Gregoire of Oxford. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Nichole and Peter Gordon in 1994. He was also predeceased by a brother and three sisters. He was born in Worcester, son of Arthur J. and Helen (O’Leary) Marcotte.
Arthur was a mechanical engineer at UMass . He also worked in the pre-release program for the Dept of corrections He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was known in Webster as “Pappa”. Arthur always put his family before anything.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, March 3 ,2023 at 1:30 pm in Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
