Armide Bazile

WORCESTER - Armide Bazile, who is of Haitian descent, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent hospital in Worcester, MA on April 18, 2020 around 10:24 pm due to complications from an unexpected illness.  She was 91 years of age.

She leaves to cherish her memory of 3 sons, Mark Yves Mayard and his wife Gudrun of Tampa, FL, Jean Richard Mayard and his wife Leona of Worcester, MA and Parvel Souffrant of Rutland, MA; seven grandchildren: Wendy, Keefe, Nicole, Christopher, Andre, Anthony and Allysha.  She also leaves behind 4 great-grandchildren: Justice, Brice, Danitxia and Michael as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Eugenie, brother Miermont, and sister Solange.  She was born in Bellance, Haiti, daughter of Andre Bazile and Marie David Bazile.

Armide was a hard worker and a very devoted mother who in her spare time enjoyed helping those in need. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, dancing and watching I love Lucy. She has touched the lives of many and will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be private.  Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
