WORCESTER Arlene C. (Paris) Bartley Nally, 78, of Worcester, died Monday, February 15, 2021 at Holy Trinity Nursing Home.
Her husband of 7 years, Edward M. Nally, Jr., died in 2009. She leaves two sons, Jason J. Bartley and his wife Jaime Rondeau of Worcester, and Shawn M. Bartley and his wife Tammi-Ann of Worcester; her daughter Jeanna J. Bartley and her husband Donald Grayson of Worcester; three grandchildren, Jason Bartley Jr., Kyle R. Smith, and Joleesa S. Grayson, all of Worcester. She also leaves a nephew, Jamie Parker of Florida and other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Parker. She was born in Danielson, CT, daughter of Eugene E. and Juliette E. (Messier) Paris.
Arlene worked as a shoe make at Bates Shoe in North Grosvenordale, CT. She later worked in the cafeteria at Clark University. She had a close neighborhood family in South Worcester. She was the manager of the English Social Club on Camp Street for many years. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping, especially with ”the ladies at Holy Trinity”. They frequented the Draught House. She was president of the Resident Council at Holy Trinity.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 8:45 am – 9:45 am at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St, Worcester, followed by a Mass at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Funeral services are under the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
