WORCESTER - Antonio Roman Melendez passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who touched the lives of many.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Karina; his children, Rafael R. and Giovanni W.; his mother, Carmen Melendez; his father, Rafael Pomales; and his siblings, Migdalia, Jasmine, and Jose. He also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Tony was a man who truly loved life’s simple joys. He cherished his family above all else and had a special love for his dogs, Sky and Samson. He could always be counted on to fill a room with love and laughter. Known for his generosity, Tony was always helping others before himself, which was a true reflection of his character. He was the person everyone depended on; the family handyman and mechanic who could fix just about anything.

Tony was also a man of deep faith. He found strength in prayer and carried his faith with him throughout everyday life. More than anything, Tony will be remembered for the love he gave so freely and the countless memories he created with those around him.

He was deeply loved and though his presence will be greatly missed, his family finds peace in knowing he is now in heaven.
