WORCESTER – Allan Navickas, 85, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025 after a short illness.
He leaves his beloved wife of 42 years, Mary (St. Germaine) Navickas; a daughter, Tiffany Cariglia of Florida, two brothers, Richard and his wife Judy Navickas of Virginia, and Raymond Navickas of Worcester; a sister-in-law, Barbara Navickas of Auburn; two grandchildren, Arianna and Alex Cariglia of Worcester, as well as his friends at the Brown Square Civic Club. He was predeceased by a brother Anthony F. Navickas, and a sister Peggy Fuerst. He was born in Scranton, PA, son of Anthony R. and Mary B. (Gribauskas) Navickas.
Allan was a chef at several area nursing homes and senior housing facilities. He also owned his own garages – Arthur Street Garage and N.E. Motors of Worcester for 30 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He loved the Patriots and enjoyed sports, fishing, quahogging, and cooking.
His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a kind and loving person.
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Tpke, Shrewsbury. Calling hours will be at the church prior to the Mass from 10:00-10:45 am. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Inc, 69 Grove St, Worcester, MA 01605.
