WORCESTER – Adiel R. Herrera Mangandi, 54, of Worcester, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at UMass Memorial – Belmont St.
He leaves his wife of 33 years Vilma (Garcia) Herrera of Worcester, a son, Kevin Herrera and his wife Lesley of Worcester; three daughters, Lidise Herrera and her husband Edwin Fajardo of Worcester, Dayna Herrera and her husband Gerson Perez of Worcester, and Esteysi Herrera and her husband Eduardo Peña of Worcester; his mother, Ester Herrera of El Salvador; four brothers: Carlos Herrera, Elmer Mangandi, Melsar Mangandi, all of Worcester, and Donian Mangandi of El Salvador; a sister, Deysi Mangandi of El Salvador, four grandchildren, Kayleen and Edwin Fajardo, Eli and Deyni Grace Perez ; many niece and nephews. He was born in Ahuachapan, El Salvador, son of Ester Herrera and the late Hermes Mangandi and has lived here since 1995.
Adiel worked as a forklift operator for Cumberland Farms. He loved playing guitar, he enjoyed singing, and he loved to eat. He provided music at church, Iglesia Cristiana Bet-El. He really loved his family – his wife, kids, grandkids, and siblings.
A private graveside service will be held. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
