WORCESTER – Xhimal Xhindole, 87, of Worcester, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Sara (Ruzi) Xhindole; a son, Edward Xhindole and his wife Entela of Worcester; a daughter, Mimoza Komani and her husband Xhevahir of Albania; two brothers living in Albania and Italy, four grandchildren, Xhejs, Ened, Ada, and Dorina; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 5 brothers and three sisters. Xhimal was born in Lushnje, Albania, son of Mahmut Xhindole and Sajre Kurti, and has lived here for the past 7 years.
Xhimal was a high school teacher in Albania. He was a very nice, caring person. He enjoyed reading, discussing politics, and spending time with friends. He was a devoted, caring and loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved to tell his grandchildren stories. He will be remembered by all his students that he taught throughout the years.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 27 at Hope Cemetery, 119A Webster St, Worcester, with a procession leaving Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave at 10:30 am. Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 25 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
