Suzanne I. (Hesselton) Leanna

WORCESTER - Suzanne (Hesselton) Leanna, 76, of Worcester, died Friday, July 5, 2019 while on family vacation on Cape Cod.

Her husband of 37 years, George M. Leanna, died in 2005.  She leaves a son, Michael Tillery and his wife Christine of Auburn; five daughters, Justine Poirier of Worcester, Christine Gregoire and her husband Peter of Worcester, Lisa Fairbanks and her husband Aaron of Arizona, Maria Tillery of Worcester, and Debbie Gilman of California; two brothers, Ronald Hesselton of Worcester and Bruce Hesselton of Connecticut.  Suzanne also leaves twelve grandchildren, Tina Stebbins and her husband Joseph of California, David Lovejoy and his wife Pamela of New Hampshire, Brian Lovejoy of Worcester, Peter Gregoire of Worcester, Dana Neal of Worcester, Danny Neal of Worcester, Nicole, Andrew, and Ryan Tillery, all of Auburn, Paige Fairbanks of Arizona, Justin Fairbanks of Maine, and William Fairbanks of Arizona; her step-grandson Scott Poirier and his wife Marie of Dudley; four great-grandchildren, Veronica Woods, Jayce Gregoire, Jackson and Jameson Woodman, and a fifth great-grandchild on the way, as well as her step great-grandchildren, Alex and Luke Poirier; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Paul Hesselton and a sister, Eleanor Bjorkman.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of Richard and Ingrid (Ludblad) Hesselton.  She graduated from Commerce High School.

Suzanne was a certified nursing assistant and had worked at Christopher House in Worcester before her retirement.  She enjoyed bowling and playing Bingo.
