Susan M. Casey

SPENCER – Susan M. Casey, 65, of Howe Village, Spencer, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. 

She leaves her mother Theresa (Lacombe) Casey, son Jason Casey and his partner Tara, two sisters, Betty Ann Casey and LuAnn Casey McKeon and grandson, Jamison Casey, all of Spencer. Susan is also survived by a niece, nephew, grandniece, grandnephew, and by her dear friends Sandy Monaco and Connie and Jim Zelna, all of Florida. 

Sue was predeceased by her father Leo J. Casey in 1987.  Born in Worcester to Leo and Theresa, she graduated from David Prouty High School in 1971. She went on to work for UMass and as an Insurance Agent for SBS Consulting. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her son Jay and grandson Jamison were the pride of her life. She loved cheering on all four New England sports teams.

The memorial service will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  Donations may be made in Susan’s memory to Spencer Rescue Squad Inc. 6 Bixby Road Spencer, MA 01562.
