WORCESTER – Stavri Tanaca, 87, of Worcester, died Thursday, December 13, 2018 at UMass Memorial after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 50 years, Fillareta (Shore) Tanaca; a son, George Tanaca of Worcester, a daughter, Victoria Renga and her husband Robert of Worcester, a brother and a sister, three grandchildren, Theodora, Pavli and Nicholas; several nieces and nephews. Stavri was born in Korce, Albania, son of Jorgji and Dumnika (Rixha) Tanaca, and has lived here for the past 23 years.

Stavri was a mechanic, working on heavy equipment and machines.

Funeral services will be private. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is in care of arrangements.
