Sara D. (Alarcon) Andrade

WORCESTER – Sara D. (Alarcon) Andrade, 86, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Christopher House. 

She leaves her husband of 68 years, Hector E. Andrade, a son, Victor Andrade and his wife Paula of Worcester; a daughter, Grace Andrade of Worcester; a brother, Luis Alarcon of California; four grandchildren, Leonardo Andrade of Worcester, Alicia, Grace, and Hector Andrade of Guayaquil, Ecuador; two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  Sara was predeceased by her son Hector G. Andrade, her sister Clemencia Figueroa and half-sister Marina Enriquez.  She was born in Eloy Alfaro, Ecuador, daughter of Segundo and Zoila Alarcon.   

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St, Worcester. There are no calling hours. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is in care of arrangements.
