Ronald A. Noel

WORCESTER – Ronald A. Noel Sr., 70, of Worcester, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at UMass Memorial, Lake Ave.

He leaves two sons, Ronald A. Noel, Jr and his wife Elizabeth of Worcester, and Timothy P. Noel of Millbury; a daughter, Lisa M. Noel of Millbury; a brother, David E. Noel and his wife     Donna of Charlton; a sister, Patricia A. Naples of Worcester;  seven grandchildren, Eric Noel, Ryan Jerome, Lauren Jerome, Aiyana Noel, Sophia Noel, Raina Jerome and Tiohawihton Peterson; nieces and nephews.   He was born in Whitinsville, MA, son of Arthur E. and Rita (Gauderre) Noel. 

Ronald worked in a lumber yard.  He was U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving on the USS Kretchmer.  He grew up in Millbury.  He was an avid dart shooter, pool player and loved country music.  He was “Pepa” to his seven grandchildren.  He also loved gardening and cooking.  

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, followed by Military Honors.  Calling hours are Thursday, June 20 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm before the funeral.   Donations can be made to Veterans, Inc., 69 Grove St, Worcester, MA 01605.
