Robert A. Safford

BOSTON – Robert A. Safford, 69, of Peabody, died Friday, August 25, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital after being stricken ill.

He leaves an Aunt, Mary Barsam of Worcester.  His mother, Lillian Mae (Barsam) Safford, died in 2014.  He was born in Lynn, son of Albert W. and Lillian Safford. 

Robert was a mechanical engineer, working at several companies and the federal government. 

Funeral services were held privately.  Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.  There are no calling hours.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, is in care of arrangements.
