Nelson A. Diaz Jr

WORCESTER – Nelson Abnel Diaz, Jr., 20, of Worcester, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at home.

He leaves his parents, Nelson A. Diaz Sr. and Esthervina Hernandez-Soto of Worcester; two brothers, Alex Diaz Hernandez, and Jacob Gordon of Worcester; three sisters, Jayde Gordon, Zendaline Diaz Hernandez, Nahomy Diaz, and her husband Luis Santiago, all of Worcester; his maternal grandmother, Ines Soto of Worcester and his maternal grandfather, Domingo Hernandez of Puerto Rico; a nephew Deniel Abnel of Worcester; several cousins, including Jeidy Morales, Anthony Rivera, and Nelson Javier; his girlfriend Kellian Martinez (Flaka) of Connecticut.  He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and has lived here in Worcester MA since 2007.

A graveside Service will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at Hope Cemetery, with a procession leaving from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, at 10:30 am.  Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 4 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 8:00 pm.
